Latest reports from Bahrain still show some serious issue. Should F1 "support" such actions. Teams are finding sponsers hard to find during the downturn would companies be happy to spend money to be associated with this

If anybody followed the political situation with Bahrain on this BB last year, it should be obvious that F1 and politics must not mix.

Well if it went ahead this year then I don't see why it shouldn't happen next year. Bahrain has become somewhat more peaceful since the Grand Prix this year, and the primary concern should be the safety of those involved. Much as I disagreed with the race taking place, if it was deemed safe this year then it would have to become much more dangerous to be cancelled again.

Not really.
I voted 'no', I thought about "maybe" - but that depends on the regime changing its behaviour towards people opposing them.

Politics shouldn't affect the sport and where it races, as long as the drivers teams and spectators are safe the event should go ahead.

But like everyone has said the track is just a bad design and they shouldn't be there for that reason.

Track is fine, especially taht last season it produced great racing (though some **** tracks also did the same).

And F1 should never mix with politics.

They should have boycotted it this year when the situation was dodgier, now to skip it would make as much sense as skipping the Chinese GP for human rights abuse in China.

"We knew things were wrong here but condoned it for a while being best mates with the circuit owners which happen to be the government as well, but now suddenly we're backtracking and taking the moral high ground to show how much better we are than these filthy bastards, which used to be our mates and have done nothing different since." Great political statement, heh.
