Oldest racing magazine/publication in your collection?

Not exactly racing, but...

Lord Montague's Car Magazine published an annual Road Book, and I have a 1910 edition--sort of road atlas plus gazetteer of things important to motorists (pubs, hills, where you can get batteries, where you can get fuel, tyres, mechanics etc.

At the very back is this cheering little feature:

The 'Broughton' reference must be Upper Broughton on the A606, known round here as the Melton Road / Nottingham Road. Heading north-west towards Nottingham, it is a short winding climb out of the village towards Hickling Pastures, not far from the A46 Fosse Way, and the Old Dalby railway test track.

No, completely wrong. Well, right road (A606), wrong place. On the way to Melton Mowbray this morning, I found that Broughton Hill is on the other side of the valley, on the Melton side of Nether Broughton. Wonder whether Raymond Mays ever tried these two hills on journeys to Donington, Nottingham etc.

I have about 5 or 6 plastic bins of miscellanious magazines from the period of the fifties through the seventies with a few later ones thrown in, The bins are mostly aqbout 35 liters but some larger so they represent a fair bulk of volume and weight, They are totally unsorted. They inclusd, Autosport, Road and Track, Sports Car Graphic, Racing Car News, misc motorcycle and what have you. Most have survived because they had articles or results of paricular interest to me at the time. (I have been hauling them around for a long time).

I have just moved houses for the purposes of downsizing. Storage is now a problem and I now realise that it is unlikely that I will ever take the time to make use of them.

I have a one time offer.

The first person to say that they want them can have them. A couple of rules: as is and where is is the first and the second is that they all go as one lot at no cost to me.

The bulk and the rules makes it likely that the taker will be within driving distance of me but that is not an impediment to anybody with a genuine interest.

All shows of interest will be accepted by forum private mail that gives me a return contact that I can make via phone or email only. I will contact takers in time order of interests being shown.

Can I just say this: I find it sad(but just part of life and how we roll along) when my friends and acquaintances reach this "downsizing" point. I know some who really worry about it -- and some who dont. You and I share a bit of history and a whole lot of good times and good people and good cars. I treasure that and more. I hope your stuff goes to a good home, I hope you continue to thrive

Seriously, I think this is probably the best way to "dispose" of our collections. I tried (weakly) to find a new home for my collection but in the end it went to recyling! I still have nightmares about that...

This is my treasure - Swiss mag "Motorsport aktuell" - got it at the Hockenheim GP (remember the old track long before Tilkenheim?;)) in 1978 - so brand new compared to the stuff posted so far *g*

Right - also in Diepholz Jochen Mass, Hans Heyer, Rolf Stommelen, Reine Wisell, Per Eklund, etc driving the 430 HP Camaro Z28.
Stuck won the event.

Sounds like a Celebrity Camaro series I've not heard of before.

Oldest mags I have are a couple of issues of The Motor Cycle. One dates from 1937 (covers the German GP in which Jimmie Guthrie lost his life) and the other is from way back in 1923. Fascinating items. The sheer number of British manufacturers is staggering.
