I been watching out for the opening of this facility for some time. Evidently they have stored in Alexandria(?) thier entire archive (or suppository) all the way back to the glass negative days.

Their main opposition, on the other hand, I believe, dumped all the old stuff :|

All the older stuff has now gone to the National Library I believe. More recent stuff eg 1950s they charge serious fees just to find the negative even when you give them the paper, the date and the page number. At least that's the response I got a year or so ago. But maybe things have changed?Suggest these posts should be under historical research and under archives?

All the older stuff has now gone to the National Library as was announced before Christmas. More recent stuff eg 1950s they charge serious fees just to find the negative even when you give them the paper, the date and the page number. At least that's the response I got a year or so ago. But maybe things have changed?
