For me, the BB has been going haywire for a number of days. Whilst navigating the site is ok, the BB constantly hangs. This morning I have noticed that the internal clock is running anything between 4 and 6 minutes fast, is this now another problem or the true cause of the problems known about for the last 12 months.

Is anyone else experiencing similar problems?
My computer keeps hanging when I'm on the forum, but not when I'm navigating around stories on the site nor when on the live timing from Barcelona.
This morning, it seems as though I've at least got to the bottom of understanding the problem. The site clock and the forum clock are not synchronized, there is a difference which varies between 4 and 6 minutes. The site clock, as well as my computer are both correct and show the same time, the forum is ahead by these minutes.
If I read a thread, the forum clock freezes until I leave that thread. If I am ready to leave the thread at a correct time prior to the the forum clock, it freezes until my computer clock reads at least the time of the forum clock.
That's AOK provided there are a few posts to read. The forum clock resets, 4-6 minutes in the future on every navigation, so were I to click on to a thread with only one reply, the computer may be frozen for 5-6 minutes until it gets to at least the forum clock time.
Clearly my trusty Sony is refusing to participate in time travel, with which I am complete agreement as I have no wish to either else I would aquire a Tardis. As King proved conclusively in 11.22.63, the consequences could be dire. :stoned:

I'd spotted the fast forum clock and wondered why it was happening, but no other problems so far, on both PC and iPhone.

The clock does seem to be advancing further. When this was first pointed out this afternoon it was about six minutes ahead of my system clock - it's now eight minutes fast.

Yep 10 minutes this morning V2. My problems will only get worse. I'm deafened by the silence of official response.

We're aware of the problem, I was going to wait until I had some sort of answer to give you before posting in here!

Having something that is not satisfactory is better than having nothing at all.

We'll look into what's going wrong.

I won't pretend to have a clue at present!

Forum activity tweaks the gravity, which distorts space-time. It's like the time correction you need on a GPS satellite and the ground receiver.
