I subscribe to a classic magazine and on the odd occasion they include a reprint of an old edition of Motor Cycle this one being the 22nd of March 1977. In an article that included Bill Currie and Ken Arthur about the new sidecar season is a reference to a Roman Chariot in which the winners of any of the British Championship rounds would do their victory lap. It reads as " Sprinter Pete Williams of Warrington has been working hard in his top secret fabrications shop making a Roman type chariot on which winners will be given laps of honour " Did this ever get built and was it ever used ?
