Predictions, predictions. Only a little over two months left, we need to get the juices flowing.

There wasn't really room for LMP2 or GTE-AM on the poll so whatever.

Overall: Audi Team Joest
Top three: Audi #1, Audi#3, Toyota#8
Winner LMGTE-PRO: AF Corse

[edit]
I really don't have any idea which of the respective factory cars come home where, so I just plotted the three above in. And only now realising that I left out Audi#2 which is manned by TomK. Arrghhhh.

Can see one of the Audis not finishing and a Toyota getting 3rd but I'd expect barring major problems Audis to have the pace.
I went for Corvette to win the GT battle but that's such a close category... could almost be anyones

This will be my first time at Le Mans! We will be camping at the "village on the curves".

I hope Toyota No.8 with Davidson but I think one of the Audis.
In GT it's more open and I think it will be between the factory Porsches and Aston Martins

After seeing the late part of Silverstone I was convinced that Audi was so scared they produced a monster for this year.
Corvette to take the GT class mostly because I want Luca to get tired of being beaten by Chevys.

Hard to say until the 13 Toyota is seen in competition, one should be at Spa but we won't fully know till we arrive in France.

Hopefully Starworks can get a budget together to do just the great race in LMP2 even though they had to pull out of the WEC after the Venezuelan money dried up.

As for GT the Aston's will be BoP'd before LM if the ACO has any sense after they crippled the Ferrari's too much and gave a big weight break to Aston, so it should be anyone's game.

Audi is going to steamroll everyone... I really can't see another outcome.

I agree. Very sad to see defending champions unable to race like that. :well:

Too late, their Le Mans entry has officially been confirmed as having been withdrawn.

On the topic, I'm fully expecting all 5 factory cars to be going at it at a gigantic pace for the first half of the race, then niggles set in and someone stretches ahead. I'll be hoping that that car is one of the Toyotas. Dream podium would be 8 Toyota-7 Toyota-3 Audi. In GT it's going to be an Aston Martin walkover if their reliability holds out, but I'll be rooting for the Manthey Porsches.

You forgot to add:

How long will the Garage #56 car last?

My answer is... I doubt it'll even start.

That would be difficult. There arent any gt3's in the race.

They are GT2. I expect an award for pedantry when mcnish bulldozes one in a brainfade, or some 50 year old banker nearly kills someone with one.

As a Toyata fan it saddens me to say I anticipate, unless there are serious technical or GT car related issues, an Audi lockout, their cars were so dominant at Silverstone. I would predict that Toyota might manage to pull back some of their late season 2012 form on the non-European WEC races later this year.

The Aston Martins were also very strong in the GT classes, only the #51 or #71 Ferraris are likely to pose any challenge there.

Don't forget that Toyota were running their 2012 car at Silverstone. The 2013 car debuts at Spa so should be closer on pace to the Audis.

Went for Audi overall. The fact they're testing four cars currently tells you how much money and resource they have so they'll be close to unbeatable. #2, #1 and #7 on the podium and I'm feeling a #2 win if Mcnish is now comfortable with the visibility of the Audi.

GT is hard because you don't know what the ACO will do with the BOP. I went for Aston Martin on their strong showing at Silverstone plus they're the only works team with three pro cars.

Also shows to me just how seriously they are taking the 2 car effort of Toyota...

I'm going with the #2 Audi for overall victory, #12 Rebellion for best privateer P1, #24 OAK Racing for P2, #97 Aston for GTE-Pro and #50 Corvette for GTE-Am.

Would love to see Corvette or SRT take the GTE race but I think Aston might be too strong this year. P2 will basically be whoever has a clean run, lot's of cars in with a shot of winning that so long as they stay out of trouble. That'll be the class to watch in my opinion.
