The mechanics were not so smartly dressed in those days.

The yellow-capped photographer looks like Ulf Karlsson from Swedish motorsport magazine IMS. I can ask him. We live in the same town and I saw him yesterday

Quick question.

In the '74 GP, Bertil Roos did the practice sessions in his usual blue and yellow helmet.

For the race, he donned a plain white.

Anyone know why?

On this day 40 years ago the 1975 Swedish Grand Prix was

held at Scandinavian Raceway in Anderstorp.

As usual I and my brother was there for all three days.

A newcomer to the GP was my new camera, a Asahi

Pentax ME2 with two Tamron lenses. A wideangel

28 mm and a 100-300 macro-zoom. The film was

Agfachrome CT 18 as always.

Talking about cameras, this gentleman was also there

Geoffrey Goddard with (I believe) his beloved Leica

in hand.

Another thing that was new was the unique drive-

through pits

but some things was the same as last year.

PwvsN79.jpg

The car that Bob built came back as did

Barbro and Ronnie.

How they thought that she would come up

to time the cars I don´t know.

it's the nose bodywork off the  1975 version of the BRM201, when fitted with a full width front wing and side radiators.

Yes Peter!

It sits right here behind the front wing....

...and here are the side radiators.

Bob Evans was the driver but who were the mechanics?

If you want to build a model here are some

more close-up photos.

In the light of the upcoming TNF Film Show featuring John Watson and

Paul Michaels I would like to revive this, by me, sadly neglected thread.

John was at Anderstorp in ´74 with the Goldie-Hexagon Brabham BT42.

It had a rather crude front wing.

Here it´s in the paddock. As always, do you recognize anyone?

If there´s interest I will upload more photos from the

Swedish GP in the coming weeks.
