Mark Webber is on Top Gear this Sunday, he posted a shot on his Twitter: https://pbs.twimg.co...xBoCAAE-rQV.jpg

There's also a few F1 bits in the show, I know there was a feature filmed in Milton Keynes' streets at the weekend featuring a Williams, Lotus and Red Bull. Should be good!

Has he been on before? Or is this his first time?

No, he has set a lap time in the RPC but I belive it was a wet lap. Hopefully he can get a dry run this time.

Seen as it was filmed today, I wonder... I live in Boston, probably 70 or 80 miles north of the track in Dunsfold and it rained all day here... dunno what it was like in London though but it wouldn't surprise me if they got some rain at some stage

As with the interview, should be worth a listen. Clarkson won't be afraid to ask some of the questions the F1 press might, and Webber will be less inclined to use the PR lines.
I just hope he's slower than Seb though

It's a 'best of British' episode to end the series. I know because I'm genuinely in it, I'm driving a vehicle in it very briefly.

I hope he's faster. As Vettel consistently outperformed Webber over a single lap, if Webber is faster than Vettel on Top Gear, it would completely rubbish the strange notion some people have that the drivers' results in non-F1 series/cars have a direct correlation with their relative success/performance in F1. Comparing incomparable.

No, the cameramen came and did some filming to support all the British vehicles arranged in Londons mall a month or so back. Panning shots etc. they were at noble before they were at the company I work for, so expect them to feature too.

I did the driving at my factory, basically they're doing set up shots to show vehicles going round the factory and our test site before leaving for London, where the feature will start. I didn't go to London but my colleagues did.

But it would support the notion that Red Bull have been favouring Vettel all these years. :p

I'm sure that any result can be interpreted in favour or against Hamilton, Vettel and Webber depending on what you like to see. :p

I'm pretty sure what F1 drivers do in a single lap of a Reasonably-Priced Car has nothing to do with F1 at all. Just bragging rights and there's nothing wrong with that.

What? I'm pretty sure that an underpowered car with no downforce and a manual gearbox is the best indicator we have of how a driver will do in F1. I'm surprised that Jay Kay isn't contracted by Caterham, yet.

I can remember some people from hereabouts quite seriously equating Kovalainen's Race of Champions win with an absolutely certain F1 championship....

I enjoyed Mark's segment. I felt Jezza led the talking a bit too much - as usual - I really like Mark and would have preferred to hear him a bit more rather than watch him field amusing questions but meh, its Top Gear.

Glad to see him get the bragging rights over Seb (not that I dislike Seb, I just prefer Mark).

So Hamilton and Webber lapped the circuit twice. Seb needs another run.

What a superb episode, Mark was a good sport and the British engineering segment with F1 cars on the road was pretty special.

So it could be more that there is a conspiracy there at RB? Could have Webber be sabotaged with all those KERS problems and other mishups? He made a fantastic time. Wonder what Nando and Kimi could have done here on dry track.

Yes, I'm sure than Webber is 9 tenths faster that Vettel in all conditions but Red Bull have managed to hide it since 2009

I think it's pretty clear that this lap times are meanigless when it comes to F1 but I'm sure that Webber is happy to beat Vettel at least here

Webber just confirmed that he is everything what I thought about him, which is not much. Top Gear is becoming nothing more than a trashy program.

I spy with my little eye another racing driver beginning with M! Mitch Evans to be precise, to the right of Jezza.

I still want to see Seb & Mark fight... c'mon give us girls something to watch... topless of course :p....

anyway yeaaah... I like what rasul quoted of himself... :p this is not different than to Lewis beating Sebs time... earlier this year... :p it says nothing...
after all Mark wasn't able to beat Seb in the SAME CAR over 3 seasons at least :p (and they did race at the same day there different than to Top Gear!).... and now yeah I know what comes now conspiracy theories

I thought Mark was pretty funny, although Clarkson really did hog 80% of the conversation. I got the impression Webber went on the show purely for the opportunity of beating Lewis and Seb's times, that's all he was really interested in!
