We're off to Spa next week - I've read the earlier threads here about visiting the track, and they've been extremely useful for our planning, so many thanks for that.
I have one remaining query - a group of about a dozen old friends from across the world want to meet up somewhere for a few beers and maybe some food next Friday late afternoon/early evening. Ideally somewhere that's not a pumping sports bar, so we can actually speak to each other.
We're all going to be in the Eau Rouge/La Source/Yellow Carpark area for the afternoon and afterwards we'll be heading off in all directions to our varied accommodation, so we want somewhere in or near the track (we'll all have cars, so a drive of a few miles is OK).
Does anyone have any recommendations, please?

We can arrange to meet somewhere easily recognizable in that area, then just walk down the road until we find somewhere suitable.

what would be the best spot to wait on Saturday for driver's autographs? (preferably Kimi's)?
I only have general admission :-(

Was at spa this weekend, a really great time was had!!
Must take weeks for the local eco-system to rid itself of all the piss in the woods though... i half expected an amber river to wash across the track at the entrance to Pouhon!!!

What a great trip. I'd wanted to go to Spa for a long time, and I was not disappointed. Really glad I got the chance to hear the V8s scream thru Eau Rouge, Raidillon, and the Kemmel Straight for the last time. Stayed in Liege, got tickets for Gold 3, parking in lot 15. All good. Went down to Bastogne for beers and dinner on Friday night - a nice drive thru the countryside with almost no traffic. More about my trip here: 2013 Belgian Grand Prix
