In my view Alonso was the best today by a country-mile even if the German cruised it to the flag. Seb has never a big time, he just walks it down and playing with fastest lap. Fernando had to make his way up to the front, he overtook the top guys easily, made a phenomenal start.

As a Ferrari-fan, I say I don't need Fernando win the championship as long as he puts on such dominant drives. He claerly showed today why he is the best nowdays.

Seb for dominating.

Fred for the recovery drive.

Great from both.

Ricciardo. Everyone else performed either at or below their car's level.

Alonso is working hard but Vettel is a God. He took out Hamilton icecold. Without drs. After that he simply had nothing more to do than managing his lead. Good perfomance, best result.

You just can't compare Seb's drives to Fernando's (or Lewis'). He hasn't even need to go fast. I am just so annoyed by Red Bull dominating all the time. Webber was as fast as Seb in clean air, it shows that Red Bull is just mighty and dominant again.

Vettel. Maybe not necessarily a heroic kind of drive, but a finesse nevertheless.
Great drive also from Alonso, almost like a signature drive from him coming from lowly grid position like that

Seb was flawless again, but Alonso was brilliant as well.

Not sure about driver of the day but Ricciardo certainly had a pretty good race coming from 19th to get a point

Since your chances in the race are determined by your qualifying, I say, overall driver of the weekend for Vettel. Alonso had a good start, which, as so many times this and last year, was aided by Ferrari's excellent launch system. DRS nowadays, sadly, makes it relatively easy to recover positions so no major driver factor there, at least in the passes made today by FA. What happened with Hamilton after FA passed him? The difference just increased so much till the end of the race.

Alonso by a mile, again. Made both Webber and Hamilton look ridiculous at La Source, great defending from Hamilton into Les Combes. The way he carved his way up from P9 to P3 in the opening laps was sublime. If ever he were to start a race ahead of Vettel, or even alongside him, there would only be one winner. The onus is really on Ferrari to improve the single lap performance of the car, although I fear it‘s already too late for this year.

Not much difference between Vettel, Hamilton, Alonso and Button. Sutil deserves to be mentioned as does DR.

Voted Vettel, but could easily have been Alonso. Great race by both with no mistakes that I saw.

Good drives also from Button, Hamilton, Ricciardo and Sutil.

Vettel for me. Didn't need DRS to get past people too. Alonso did have a strong race though, especially his first few laps

Icecold? Hamilton made an error going up Eau Rouge, nothing icecold about that move.

How the heck can smn pick Massa, Hamilton or Raikkonen?

Hamilton lost his P1 pretty easly, and it was his fault there.

Raikkonen had eradict weekend.

Massa... well no words for him.

Only good drives were from Alonso and Vettel. But Alonso yesterday made mistake, while Vettel was whole weekend flawless (again). He made some overtakes, won the race by himself, and controlled all race.

Ricciardo though is worth mentioning, he deserve that RBR seat.

Van der Garde was great too.

Vettel no doubt. Flawless today, and very good in Qualifying.

Alonso  was very good in the race, but made a massive mistake in Qualifying.

Vettel. A GP includes the qualy and Alonso made a big mistake yesterday so I can't vote for him even if he was great during the race.

VET was indeed flawless, but his car had so much more pace than the rest.. I would have voted for him had qualifying not been a lottery (in other words: had Alonso's poor grid position been down to a properly poor quali as opposed to bad timing with the weather). Alonso had to work much harder for his result, so I vote for ALO.

Seb (in the dominant Red Bull) ..... 2nd to first on Hamilton's error, Fernando (in the Ferrari) .... 9th to 2nd. No contest, Alonso by a country mile.

I think it is hard to argue that Vettel did all which can be expected from a 3 time WDC, for all intents and puposes leading all laps, ending 16 seconds in front of the second place driver. I can understand that argument that Alonso did the best job, coming from where he came, racing as he raced and ending where he ended.

Had their start position been reversed, I could see them mirroring the result. Alonso winning with Vettel second.

So I say Vettel, but voted Alonso.

What is that supposed to mean? Ferrari was no dog. It was easily a top 2 car this weekend. Strong overall. Alonso spun in qualifying, so his performance was far from flawless this weekend. Massa with his problems didn't look too bad, either, finishing only a few positions lower than Webber. Stop downplaying the car.

The poll is about the race excluding the qualy.

I still can't believe how people can appraise Fernando's performance. Seb did nothing special. Made a good move when Lewis did a mistake, after that he had the dominant car and didn't even need to go at 70 percent. RB destroys F1.

I still can't believe you can't take other people's opinions. You do it every time you start a poll. You ask a question and later down the line criticise others choices because they are not same as yours.
Look through topics you've started. It happens every time.

Vettel was dominant today! His pace was on another level & he pulled the move on Hamilton exactly when he needed to, to dominate the race! Sign of a champion driver IMO. So he gets my vote!

Though one has to give F Alonso credit for his drive today - was also amazing - great intelligent overtaking and pace to get track position! Ultimately didn't have the pace to challenge Vettel though!
