lads, I've recently been given a few negatives and prints that were taken at the Anglo American Challenge at Brands Hatch in the early 70's (I think)...here's a few rough scans.

If any of you know, I'd like help on both the date (and circuit configuration they used) and identifying the riders and bikes (I'm OK on cars of that era, not bikes).

any help gratefully appreciated!

No. 12  - Peter Williams (Norton), No. 5 - Yvon Duhamel (Kawasaki), No. 11 - John Cooper (Norton), No. 30 - Hugh Evans (Honda), don't know the others.  Brands Hatch short circuit, Good Friday, 1973 as that was the only year that Cooper rode for the John Player Norton team.

31 is Derek Wood

21 is Rupert Murden

Neither featured in the results.

No. 30 is Hugh Evans leading 24 Tony Smith. Positions reversed at the flag with Smith second behind Peter Williams and Evans third.
