Will Sebastian win the title @ Suzuka?

So, Vettel has a chance to win his 4th title already at Suzuka, the circuit that is well known for deciding many titles in the past of F1!

He needs to win the race and Alonso to DNF.

The question is clear, can he do it?

I voted i dont care option. We know he is a champ for a long time now and it brings zero excitement when its also mathematically finished.

I hope so, maybe he will be more relaxed for the other races, taking more risks and giving the others a chance of winning a race.

The probability of Alonso finishing 9th or lower are very low, so probably not.

He'll have it wrapped up in India, though.

He won't win it. I don't think Alonso will have a technical issue. Only thing he can hope for is a scenario like last year when Alonso was hit by another driver and had to retire.

Guys - its a forgone conclusion that Seb will win the title, but there is still plenty of racing going on. I enjoyed the battle between the Lotus drivers very much, and there were some fun battles up and down the field.

If your only interest in F1 is whether two or more drivers happen to be within 25 points of one another by the last race of the season then yes, the last races of the season are pretty much pointless. I love Suzuka and Interlagos and am really looking forward to the races there. As long as the tyres aren't a joke and DRS isn't too dominant, I think there will be some really good racing action to enjoy. Not necessarily for the lead, but good racing none the less.

Every F1 race is a special event for me. If F1 held non-championship races, I'd watch it just the same way.

I don't think he will win it in Japan, it's more likely he does win in India.

Silly stat: If he wins the WDC in India he will have won the title in a different circuit each year: Abu Dhabi-Japan-Brazil-India?

Reminds me of 2001 a bit actually. Threatened to be interesting but in the end one driver/car combination was just too strong.

1. Winning title at India will make Vettel's title unique. Each title won at different country.

2. I want Hamilton and Alonso to be at podium when Vettel wins the title. I've read the interviews of Alonso and Hamilton today after the Korean GP. I would love to see what they will say to the press while freshly upset at the podium interviews with Vettel just having won his fourth title. 

No, Vettel will not win his 4th WDC at Suzuka. He'll win it in India.

But it does not make any difference since Newey is already back at Milton Keynes working on RB10 since Singapore GP.

I am picking India, Alonso I doubt will get a DNF in Japan. The Ferrari is very reliable for all the **** I have given i this year.

The racing in 2011 was much better. This year, races have been abysmal.

2012 was better than this year by quite a bit, and people still moaned about then about 7 different winners in the first 7 races! Some people will always find a reason to moan.

Its not even a slagging of Vettel, but viewers in general will enjoy F1 more when the WDC is close. But hey, one cannot really not knock Vettel/RB for being better than the rest by a hefty margin this year. They are just doing a excellent job.

If it was up to me though, I would still have 2007/2008 regulations! That for me was more reflective racing, I agree with Irvine that DRS, Tyres and Kers make things more than a bit artifcial.

Couldn't care less, championship is over... One of the dullest in quite a while, for the first time I've not gone out of my way to watch all the races. New regs cant come soon enough, shame drs isn't going though.

95% of the motor series around use refuelling and they don't have problem with it...

Also refuelling might be a tad artificial for a sprint series like F1 (that has such short races), but all in all as a show method made more sense than crappy spec tires, DRS and other junk Formula Dull is so full of nowadays.

As for the poll question, couldn't care less.

Interesting, your opinion is worth more value than mine in this case, as I am strictly an F1 fan.
