Yep, here we are back at Charlotte. The "home race" of the teams.

Jeff Gordon is on pole for the Sprint Cup Series. We have a couple of debuts, namely Kyle Larson and (Brain Scott, but nobody cares about him). As for NW. . . who gives a ****. We already know.

Practice 2

Nice one, I was about to emergency start a thread.

We forgot about Charlotte now!

Nationwide about to start. Incidentally, for those of you away from your TVs, racefansonlytv.com is a great website to go to.

To be honest, it's in Kyle Busch's best interests to save the ta-tas...

Also, he is a bit of a tit.

Don't hate the fake! There's plenty of pairs that just needed a little help to shine, and more than enough nasty real racks out there too.

She is pretty grim, though.

3rd commercial caution of the night. This race is like watching porn and they zoom in on the couch every time nipples make an appearance.

Nothing more impressive than watching Kyle Busch win in the Nationwide Series against a field full of journeymen. It's amazing that all those Nationwide wins hasn't translated to a Winston Cup Championship.

So Busch won, huh? I faded out. Kind of like how they pan away to the plant in the corner of the room after the money shot.

Yeah, Hornish blew his load too early and had nothing left at the end. Bush got him and Austin Dildo 2nd.

Larson is running with Phoenix/Harry Scott. Speaking of the kid, he has realistic expectations.

Let's Meet a Local Idiot

Better still, let's watch him race. Travis "wifebeater" Kvapil starts a lowly 41st in tonight's 500. It will be a victory for women everywhere when Danica puts him into the fence.

Just for the sake of argument.. do we know whether Kvapil is guility of beating his girl or not? More to the point, let's call it out for what it is: no one is above an ass kicking. What do we actually know?

Sorry. I use the NASCAR threads as my safe house to chat a lil NCAA and NFL football. No one in the Rosberg vs Hamilton Scorecard thread really took a fancy to my discussion of contemporary SEC defenses.

Shame.

How well funded is KB's team? Its not as if every other team is barely getting by.

Makes no difference, IMO. Well done boob jobs make womem look better, not become cyborgs.

It's the same as using braces to fix teeth.

I can't remember any race at Charlotte being memorable or somehow special. Hopefully it'll be fun this time.

The #77 car would come under "development drivers", since Kligerman is in it. Thing is, Kyle didn't win in his own car last year, so that suggests the JGR organisation is cut above. The common annoyance seems to be that Cup drivers hog the best equipment in Nationwide, as well as "journeyman" (eg Sadler, Hornish, Vickers, Smith).

But that is more of a consequence of having big Cup teams running cars in the lower tiers.

I'm glad it's at 1:30 AM in Europe, which won't tempt me to watch it. Charlotte races are probably the most boring ones of the year, so reading results tomorrow should be enough for me. Having said that, I'm not a huge fan of Talladega either, since it's all about who will surivive the final lap crash...

Of all the drugs I've done, none of them have made boring NASCAR races interesting. Let's hope this one is naturally entertaining, or that this new line in the sand I've drawn in my life of trying *special* banana bread for the first time makes the race interesting.
