TBH I don't think Grosjean has been called a crasher for a while now - and kudos to him, he's turned it around this year.

I looked like a right idiot on live forum ( even more than normal ) when building the overtake Seb would have to do on Grosjean;  Romain was a wild child who would be mental in his defence!

Then it was all very sensible indeed .  Come back the old Grosjean.

Being serious he had a very good race, perhaps the thought of #1 at Lotus is making him be less rash. Certainly there is a big change. Redemption man, nice to see. 

I'm slightly worried Perez is going down the sensible path as well .....  noooooo.

He's turned it around the past few races, that is for sure. But a fat man does not get slim just with 4 weeks worth of hard exercise. And it takes just a week of binging to undo all that hard work. Going by his past reputation he would need an entire clean season to undo it.

He made a questionable move on kimi a week ago and looked like he made two moves against webber when he first tried to overtake him. Lucky for him the other drivers are a bit more careful when driving around him. Hes still far away from the likes of raikkonen, alonso and button but next season will tell.

He squeezed Vettel today causing Lewis puncture....just kidding  I think he is doing alright this year.

Well he looks better - he did well getting to the front clean.

If he doesn't do it again then, and if he can derive a Grand Unified Theory uniting gravity with quantum physics, then yes, Romain can have the Nobel Prize for physics.

He's certainly improving, kudos to him. The series of clean, decent races and podiums (could've been three in a row had it not been for the Singapore misfortune) will do wonders to get his confidence back, which is IMO one thing that held him back in the beginning of this season. Will be interesting to see him as (potentially) leading driver at Lotus next season.

What gets me is Maldonado, he's still driving recklessly yet seems to get away with it, i can guarantee when Romain puts one foot wrong people will jump all over him again regardless of the fact he's had a clean season, bar Monaco. Romain was clumsy, the kid doesn't have an ounce of malice in him and for the most part has got on top of his clumsiness. Pastor on the other hand is belligerent, reckless and worst of all completely oblivious to his faults, he's the most dangerous guy on the grid IMHO.

I'm quite impressed with Grosjean over the last few races apart from the defense against Kimi in the previous race. He seems to add consistency to his speed, but as others said, he still needs to do that consistently for several months. If he does that, Grosjean/Hulk could be a remarkably strong combo next year as both drivers seem to be on an upward curve.

Wasn't it just a few years ago that Vettel was the "crash kid"? Before all the WDC's?

IIRC Schumi in his early F1 years (prior to the Hill incident) had a talent for getting in the way and ruining others races.

F1 is too quick to condemn young and inexperienced drivers. I am glad to see that Lotus has given Grosjean time to develop. Wins will come soon with further experience and continued drives in good cars.
