Liked it too. So did my wife who can't stand a full minute of F1 on TV.
She's all right with a Premium Padock Club pass though.

No need to apologise, but maybe you should have started a "RUSH - the technical aspects" thread....then I could have rabbited on about the rusty exhaust when Niki passed Reutemann at "Monza"

That's a great idea! One part that I chuckled was when Niki ordered his crew to reduce the weight of his car and asked if they were using magnesium. If this actually happened, the movie made it seem like they made parts to his orders in the garage overnight.

You mean they didn't??
Apart from that I enjoyed it as a movie experience and a way to drag the spouse into my universe.

Great movie. The impression that you could pull enough weight out of a car overnight to get 2.3s improvement in laptime seems a bit suss.
Also the speechifying in the hangar at Bologna seems a bit unlikely. I see that googling for the film results in a lot of astroturfing, fake articles meant to analyse it but in fact are there to publicise it.

Briliant technically?? or just from an entertainment point of view???
So...my little odd tech grab was the shot of Niki overtaking Reutemann at "Monza" and a weird shot of a rusty exhaust that looked like it was from a road car...
