I can't believe this She was about to present a book "La vida es un regalo" (Life is a gift). She has been so brave and strong through all that happened to her and now this. Terrible.

Don't know of course, but doesn't sound like a natural cause to me. Hotel room + emergency services.........
Posted 11 October 2013 - 07:06
RIP Maria. Awful news.
Posted 11 October 2013 - 07:06
RIP
The circumstances of her death are still unclear. As the Spanish radio station 'Cadena Ser' reports, the sympathetic ex-pilot had transmitted an emergency call in the morning.
When the rescuers arrived at the hotel in the center of Seville, they found the 33-year-old Spaniard apparently lifeless in her room before. All attempts at resuscitation were unsuccessful. For more information about the backgrounds are not yet known.

Obviously smells of suicide, which is what nobody is saying aloud.
Posted 11 October 2013 - 07:22
Maybe something from her past head/skull trauma caused this. RIP Maria de Villota. This is sad beyond words. God bless her family.

She was in the hotel because she had to talk today in a congress and Cadena Ser is reporting they found nothing in the room which, so far, points towards natural death.Obviously smells of suicide, which is what nobody is saying aloud.

Obviously.
She was in the hotel because she had to talk today in a congress and Cadena Ser is reporting they found nothing in the room which, so far, points towards natural death.
Anyway, it doesn't really matter how and why. She was a very young woman and it's very sad news.
D.E.P. (RIP)
Natural death is a big shame. Shame if nobody could see risk factors when she was probably having regular checks

Seems to be a natural death, the first informations say no signs of violence or drugs founded. Let´s wait to the autopsy.
Sad day for the sport.
