5 Cautions and no big one?

3 only

last caution was useless, it was on the back straight way, and they could have finish under green

really gutted

Damn, Dillon ruined what could've been an exciting last lap wreck.

I think both jimmie and Matt finished poorly, so it's a wash?

Slightly in shock that an EGR car was capable of winning...

They've always been in contention at plate tracks, so it's not that surprising.  What's surprising is that only one EGR got taken out this time.

I agree with the caution, Mears could have been in bad shape stopped on the backstretch, plus there were some stragglers all around the track that would disallow the crew to get to him.

I am probably the only person here to be glad there was no big one, that way the champion doesn't complain about the Dega Effect.

Kenseth seem to do well for someone who had no fixed partner like the Hendrik cars.

JJ 13th, Kenseth 20th, JJ must have picked up a bunch of spots on the last lap or two.

Good race for Stenhouse.

so many times they didn't call a caution even when it was a bigone in the last lap... I just hate they don't do the same thing all the time

Then you should be glad they went with more sensible route this time.

Actually felt bad for Junior, thought he had a real shot taking this win.

Just chalk the finish of this race onto the long list of NASCAR inconsistencies. It's just whatever the mood race control is in that given day is what determines it. We've all seen the exact scenario today play out in races past (especially plate races) and both outcomes have happened; caution flies or race ends. I'd be more annoyed but it's hard to get all that upset with Jamie Mac winning. He's just too nice of a guy so it just eases all of your anger (though I wouldn't be surprised if JR Nation of Alabama isn't burning buildings down right now)

Here is my HMS breakdown:

48: Didn't crash, finished in the top 15. He had a strong car, wrong place, wrong time.

24: Didn't crash, finished in the top 15. He had a strong car, wrong place, wrong time.

88: Didn't crash, finished in the top 5. He had a strong car, wrong place, wrong time.

5: Didn't crash, finished the race. Ole Candy Cane had his day ruined by going down a lap. If there was any debate if he had a shot for the Cup, the debate is over.
