Yeah, Paludo was released but declined interviews. There were other guys who took a bigger beating than him when you watch the replay.

I don't know what's more reliable: Old Faithful or a plate race ending in a giant wreck. I actually thought they might make it back clean on that last lap too.
Vicious hit on the inside wall by Kyle. Glad he's ok. Well, no major injuries. You could tell in his interview he was really hurting. How many wrecks are going to have to happen for NASCAR to put soft walls on all parts of a track exposed to the racing surface? It's a cliche in racing but its true, "If its on the track, a car will find a way to hit it sooner or later". I know its expensive but its been years since they first introduced the new walls. It's well past time for all the tracks to have them inside and out.

Why hasn't that commercial been posted on youtube so you people can edit and loop it as God intended?

And Lofton is released with only a fractured left thumb. Everything seems to have ended good after all! Not bad.

This sort of junk is why I hate these restrictor plate races. They are almost barbaric in how they tend to breed horrible crashes.
#61
Posted 20 October 2013 - 05:10
Especially tandem races. There has to be at least an 80% success rate for a last lap crash in these.

Aye, Mngus is the man
NCWTS Driver standings following Talladega:
1) #88-Matt Crafton 680
2) #3-Ty Dillon 623, -57
3) #31-James Buescher 622, -58
4) #4-Jeb Burton # 598, -82
5) #32-Miguel Paludo 562, -88
6) #98-Johnny Sauter 588, -92
7) #29-Ryan Blaney # 576, -104
8) #17-Timothy Peters 574, -106
9) #54-Darrell Wallace, Jr., # 566, -114
10) #62-Brendan Gaughan 553, -127
Buescher relinquishes 2nd place to a Hat. Crafton is looking pretty safe for the moment with four races left.
I'm hoping Bubba can finish the season well, maybe get that W and vault up to 7th, or even 6th in the points.
Good battles throughout really.
Next stop Martinsville. No NNS again. Which is nice.

Posted 20 October 2013 - 16:16
It's too bad NW runs all the shitty tracks and then they skip Dega and Martinsville. That could have been top quality entertainment.
#65
Posted 20 October 2013 - 16:22
If NNS aren't running on the opposite side of the country as the Cup cars on any given weekend, I'd prefer they not run at all tbh.
This season is a write-off.

My number one resolution for next year is to find a way to afford better internet. The Canadian government could ban porn and it wouldn't piss me off as much as choppy streams do.

I feel that Mobil 1 ad is a bit insensitive now, given Smoke's current predicament.
They should make an updated version. Something like Smoke oiling up his hardwood floors so he can drag his prone body into the kitchen to microwave his chimichangas.

I'm banking on it.
However, another year with no Cup title; we might be dealing with ARCA races, and both K&N championships.
No one will be safe!
Oh ****!!
Go Kyle!!!

So I read two articles this weekend.. One was Jeffy Gordon whining that he hasn't won since forever and he can't remember what it felt like.
The second was about him selling his new york apartment for $16m profit.
Life's a bitch huh.

Yes. His wife pas posted pics of him working out.
Also, I think I just heard his crew chief say to load up the car, the frame's busted.
