come on then, this should get the blood boiling......
How many cars ran all four wheels over the white lines on Sunday and nothing was done about it. Charlie had said it was fine! I don't know how many of you saw Skys coverage, but Brundle had Charlie with him at the Skypad and asked him whether it was ok, and he said it was! He reckons that cos there's astro turf there, then the cars lose grip and are slower. Well, if that's the case, why were they all doing it?
Tracks have huge run off areas these days, there's too much run off, you might as well just have a huge area of tarmac, paint a few lines around it and call it a race track. Tracks need proper curbs, they need gravel run off areas, not tarmac where a driver can just carry on as usual.
Charlie says it's fine if they don't gain an advantage, well running off the track and getting back on it, is an advantage, as is running over the white lines and straightening the curve.
That's one of the biggest problems with F1 these days and it wouldn't be hard to sort it. 1 simple rule. anything more than 2 wheels over the white line, even if your'e forced off, means a drive through, and if you're forced off, then the other driver gets a stop and go
Sort it Charlie, before I give up on F1 and just watch BTCC
