Just been nosing around ..... and stumbled upon these amazing pictures!

Has anyone heard of this chap? I have e-mailed him to invite him aboard, but so far have not had a reply. Maybe someone with a Flickr account can contact him?

(Especially for Russell, there are some pics of Brian Lee with Lawton's Aermacchis as well as some Kirby/Barnett stuff - and I have never seen a DOHC BSA A10 before - or a V6 Triumph Trident!). Pour a nice drink and indulge!

Yes, Barry, some really good stuff.  With consent, I've previously snuck a few onto here

Thanks for those links.

Whatever happened to the Curley brothers?  Had a shop in Black Fen, Sidcup I believe.

They are great photos aren't they. I guess there's a few folk who saw the sixes & V4's in period but not many who took quality photos 45 years apart.

Thanks for that Tonka. I have sent the chap an email.

I did try to have a shufi at my Flickr account for contact details, Barry, seems it's been deactivated due to lack of use.

I have now made contact with Mr Bellee and I have copied his reply below:-

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

If any wants to copy the photos on my Flickr account then please feel free. My wife shared a flat with Syd Lawton's daughter in the late 60's and we got to know them quite well. We saw the same bikes in Spa a couple of years back, they are now owned by a Dutch crew. The Typhoon still exists and the current owner contacted me last year to say that it is in good hands. Happy to give information on the bikes if anyone has any questions. Mick.
