Just watching these races from the 90's where Prost/Senna and the rest of the GP guys raced indoors in karts - who would love to see this back??

You could have all the guys from F1 and get some guest stars from WRC (Ogier, Loab, etc), MotoGP (Rossi, Lorenzo, Marquez) and some Indy/WEC/DTM/WTCC guys.

I'd watch this more than the Race Of Champions? What you guys think, and who whould you like to see race?

it was one of the highlights of the year, seeing many stars of various series giving it their all in the basic form of motor sports... and all in a relaxed atmosphere.

Those were real good times indeed.

they did one at the end of 2011, with quite a lineup, Bianchi and Vergne won the races.

The only one I had to look at "who's that" is the one in P1.

This used to be a billion times better than modern stadium ROC which is so super incredibly boring. Bring it back.

In fact it should be a fun event organized by the FIA, with mandatory presence for the top F1 drivers plus a few winners of other FIA  world championships, and guest entries for front-runners of Indycar, GP2, DTM, etc, with the profits going to charity. At the end of the race they should go take a shower, put the suits in, and the FIA hands out the end of the season awards.

This used to be a regular televised fixture, but vanished from my TV screen 5 or 6 years ago.  Who covers it, if anyone?  A French broadcaster, presumably.

In France, nobody... I think there was a live streaming on their official website.

Eurosport used to broadcast it in the 90s, I think.

Edit: did you mean RoC? This thread is about the Bercy Kart Masters.

They brought it back in 2011 with high performance electric karts (first FIA electric sanctioned event?) and was OK. The karts were pretty hard to watch though, quite frankly they were awful. Just don't compare to the 2-stroke rocket ships of the past. it hasn't returned. Make of that what you will

No, I meant Bercy.  Maybe it was Motors TV that covered it.
