What if football would be run like Formula 1

We would have to watch the first kick 70 times from different camera angles.

Barcelona B and Real Madrid Castilla would be entered into La Liga and given detuned astro-turf boots to make it fair. And it definitely wouldn't be a conflict of sporting interest.

But i'd like to see the on(board)player camera. Especially the one at the nose

And if F1 was like football, we'd have no finishers or a very high number of pitstops and 80% of the race would be yellow flagged; after every light touch, off-line and off-track excursion, the car would be 'injured' and limp back to the pits.

Cleaned up the stuff that was just people seriously arguing over the actual merits of football. Please stop derailing a fun thread by doing that.

If football was run like Formula 1 all clubs would have their training facilities in England and fly-over during the weekends to play at the "national" competitions.
