On February 9 2014, the All British Day was held at Echunga oval south-east of Adelaide.

We'll start with an oddity.............

The Hillman is like a weed growing from the earth that it sits on, for me the pick is the Austin Meteor. When I was a 10 year old living in Banksia a guy around the corner from me had a BRG one, drove it every Sunday to Church & back home.

The Hillman is obviously a rat rod with all its scunge. It has air springs.

The 28 A7 of David Grear is out of Whyalla.  He has a nice 'after' version too. Even navy blue.

I am told that and a little tractor? attracted more lookers than anything else.

Tims Meteor has been a long term project. David also owns a very nice yellow one that has been around a long time. Both A7CSA members.

Wonderful! Echunga is such a small village, a couple of shops, one pub, my brother moved there from the UK in 2008, I have visited once. Will have to ask him if he went to this, looks fabulous..great pics!

That's an interesting number plate for an XK140 (which this definitely is)

I find the name attributed to the red XK140 interesting .  That would have to be Noel Hurd the original pilot of the Globe Products Elfin 400.

Alec, alas no. There were a few nice P3s and a couple of others but I didn't snap 'em! If you're Rover man you may appreciate hearing there's a quite nice P4 110 running around Victor Harbor. A rare beast these days. Seems like a daily driver, even. I happened upon it sans camera a while ago. I'll picture it if I see it again.

The centre mirror is at a strange angle as well.....perhaps the driver does a bit of historic racing?

Gary, someone loves that PA Vauxhall. The E series in the background looks very original.
