Personally, I'd say three - sausage, bacon and black pudding

Distinct lack of tomato, and where's the fried bread?

I prefer a short-wheelbase breakfast, but the mentioned bolt-on extras are all available for a modest stipend...

Trying to "give it the beans" that early in the morning puts me in mind of the perils of pre-qualifying...

Sorry to hear of such a collision in testing - was that just very unfortunate or will there be some soul-searching or ill-feeling there?

Am I right in thinking that Mallory's Wednesday testing is cars/bikes on alternate weeks? (I'll probably be in Leicester next week - I do like bikes but not quite so much...)

Could this be the Thundersaloon Pete Stevens?

It is indeed.

You are correct Cars & Bikes are now separated onto alternate Wednesdays (9 am start) - so next week its bikes . They usually post  details on Facebook (Mallory Park Circuit).

After the collision the single seater driver didn't hang around they loaded up & left very quickly. I couldn't see the actual impact so I'm not in a position to comment on blame.

"Roger Clark Motorsport" brought a "750 BHP" Subaru Imprezza to last Wednesdays afternoon session. I'd post a picture but I'm having trouble posting pictures from Flickr - any tips would be useful !

Thanks blacklab - I'll try to get along on Wednesday anyway if I'm around; Mallory holds a special place in my heart as I grew up nearby, living that side of Leicester for twenty-odd years with countless memories of meetings there! It will good to support the place even if I'm not in the Midlands so much these days. Is Wednesday admission and catering 'as previous'?

Stephen - that was the event where Ronnie exited stage right (from where I was standing, at least) up the bank at the esses?

Certainly was; from where we were we just saw a huge cloud of brown dust and a March emerging from it still going upwards!

Does Mr Arron photograph ALL his Mallory meals -see p134 of the new Motor Sport?  Although I understand that some up market restaurants are now banning this practice.

Also what's with the generic brown sauce?  Wot, no HP?

I can understand mint sauce because it is made from mint and tomato sauce from tomatoes but what is brown sauce?
Is it something made from the finest quality brown?

Indeed so. There's a lot of concern in Worcestershire these days - so much of it has gone into making the famous sauce that the county is rapidly shrinking.

F2 at Mallory- don't make me weep. I was at the Hairpin on the day of Ronnie's indiscretion and I remember the first few laps being total sensory overload. And now even British F3 is in intensive care and showing no signs of improvement.

That would have been Westie Mitchell in his recently restored De Tomaso FJ that he is due to race at Donington this Sunday.
