The number of votes for 6s and 7s and the number of answers saying this was an ok race because their favorite driver won or made a good race show why we have this F1 now. So I guess people get what they deserve.
I believe this race goes to show that Bahrain was a desert mirage. If the Merc drivers are too far away from each other the potential for entertainment will be rather low and, even if they are, it seems LH has already caught the measure of NR, so direct battles will tend to be less and less. That is if Merc don't decide soon to put a stop to any car-on-car action.
Question why did they not tell RIC to attack ALO right away but when there were only something like 10 laps left? I know, the speed differential on the straights was large but why not give it a try? Alonso's tyres were in worse shape and pushing him may have exacerbated that problem. And also, is Ferrari the only team that has heard of an undercut? HELLO Red Bull!
I did enjoy the graphs at the bottom of the screen showing us statistics that we don't give a **** about though. Knowing the number of Kilos of fuel they were using made the race so much more interesting.
