I'd like to see Montoya do well, and I've got a soft spot for some of the drivers I think deserve a shot in a top car (Bourdais, Wilson). I also like Hinchcliffe's attitude.
Indycar-Which drivers are you rooting for this year?

Soft spot for any ex-F1 drivers and anyone with the surname Andretti.

Taku is a bit of a cult hero, but I think the only I've really rooted for him was in the 500 in 2012... and look how he repaid me on that last lap!

I'm rooting for Hinch and Servia mostly, but really I like all the IndyCar drivers ........ except maybe those rats at Penske!!!!

Hinch, Power, Newgarden, Pagenaud, Conway. In that order.

Most of them tbh. That's what I love about Indycar, it's very easy to be happy about just about anyone doing well.

Having dabbled and watched most of the races last year, this is my first full season of Indycar so most of my views are not grounded in anything other than my being a judgmental bastard.
Guys I like:
Conway
Hunter-Reay
Montoya (oddly, since I didn't care for him in F1)
Sato (of course)
Kanaan
Bourdais
Munoz
Aleshin
Hawksworth, for accent alone
Guys I don't much like:
Power
Castroneves
Rahal (Seems to be there only because his Dad happens to own the team)
Andretti (See above)
Everybody else I'm pretty indifferent towards, one way or another. But like PayasYouRace says, even the guys I don't like I don't feel strongly about. Indycar is my light-hearted fresh air from the turgid squabbles of the F1 threads on this forum.

Firm Pagenaud fan here, the guy is a stealthy nutter in the best sense of the word. And he took a LMP-engined Honda minivan up Pikes Peak, that's got to be worth some brownie points.

None - Can't watch it this year without paying silly money to BT. Ditto MotoGP.

I think the thing about Indycar atm is that pretty much all the drivers are likeable and you end up enjoying the racing because of it.

Hinchcliffe, Newgarden, Kanaan, Wilson and Montoya.
There are certainly more drivers I'm able to support in IndyCar than there are in F1.

Wilson, Montoya, Sato and Newgarden are the ones I follow closest but I'm happy to see any of them do well. Overall probably the strongest championship in the world for driver talent (doesn't have the highs of F1's Vettel/Alonso/Hamilton but doesn't have the lows of Ericssen/Chilton/Maldonado either).

i just want will power to get his championship, it's long overdue (then i can properly hate him ) and the guy is clearly showing his frustration
(although going to mark webbo about some yoda advice might have something to do with it )
Al-you-shin, Hinch, pagnaud, conway, bourdais, RHR (he does look like a top salaryman than racer TBH), TK (of course, vin diesel in racing suit, i'm sold ) and many more.
why is Marco so much talked up??? (kinda like junior in Nascar)

Sato and Bourdais the most.
Hinchcliff and Pagenaud secondarily.

Who don't like Helio? He and Hinch are the most fan friendly race drivers.
