Just read the obituary on Ralph in the latest Classic Racer.
Absolutely astonished to learn that he lapped the island at an incredible 86.49mph in 1966 on a 50cc! When you consider the climb out of Ramsey hairpin and then all the way up the mountain for instance, its hard to believe ain't it?
