Just me or do atleast the Redbulls fall apart way to easily? DC's suspension didnt hold up much resistance when Massa hit him aswell...on both sides.

Yeah Coulthards car only seemed to go over a couple of kerbs and fell apart with wheels hanging off etc! Strange!

engine failures, no TC, no engine breaking, hell breaks loose - but does it mean we'll see SC couple times in each race now ? maybe they overdid w/ regulations this year - thoughts?

All set up for Hamilton me thinks! Mclaren seem ok with their ECU! Oh and Piquet looks to have some pace today!

One Ferrari and one team using Ferrari engines retired.
Red Bull's design looks really dangerous. That car is a death trap.

The Ferraris showing again an amazing speed but reliability problems are still there, possibly the gearbox this time.

Oh, and they need to stop that Red Bull falling apart like that - it's really quite dangerous .

BBC 5L Sports have reported that there is nothing wrong with the car of Kimi Raikkonen and that it was a misunderstanding of the telemetary by the Pitwall, and he was told to stop.
Sounds like they thought his car was near to failing so panicked and told him to stop then realised they read the telemetry wrong... or something like that.

I think he's done that although Fred had gearbox problems apparently.
Ferrari seemed to me to be in a different league to everyone here - able to routinely pop in mid 35's when everyone else is struggling to run mid '36's. I look forward to seeing the stint times but I guess we had better pray for rain on Sunday unless we want to witness the kind of domination not seen since 2004. Of course they might break down.

Button........... 1.36.037
Vettel............ 1.36.474
Fisichella........ 1.36.756
The difference between Hamilton and Kovalainen is very big, but if Hamilton really did a Q-sim, then I'd say that Ferrari have possibly got even more than half a second on them.
Edit - I think Hamilton did a Q-sim, as he could've done a 34.7(?) had he completed the lap. This also means that Ferrari's advantage is far less.
From early in first free, I've kept an eye on Renault vs BMW, and I think they're evenly matched, and Willliams aren't too far behind. Then Red Bull, but I have a feeling Webber didn't find the sweet spot set-up wise, so I think there's more speed in the RB4.
The RA108 works well here - good.
