First of all, I don't mean this thread at all in a bad way, but I am curious...

Today's world is very racist-sensitive and I can only support that. Even more so I don't understand all the time presented indications about 'Hamilton, first black grand prix driver'.

Why so often so much weight on him being 'first black grand prix driver'? It's like making him firts from different group of people, which I believe is racism at its core, isn't it?

Tomecek, I would have thought it unnecessary to continue referring to LH as being black after his maiden season. Every driver is identified by his nationality but it seems Lewis must still be referred to by his race which seems redundant and (again) unnecessary. Personally I haven't paid notice of where the articles regarding LH come from (autosport, pitpass, itv...) but I have noticed the continuing race notation. Its excessive and after awhile offensive especially seeing as how Lewis himself makes no ongoing reference to his color.

First race, 1950. After race, they were all black.
