This game is going to be awesome. The guy in charge of the physics, David Kaemmer, is one of the head guys that designed Grand Prix Legends.

It sounds incredible. There is an interview in the latest edition of autosimsport:

It really sounds quite incredible. It will be just like a real championship - the equivalent of an FiA will judge racing incidents and there is a complex algorithm and steady progression of career.
Hopefully no more of this too varied stuff like you get with rfactor (too many combinations of race types and mods) but with the accessibility of a console game yet still a sim.

Mmm... It would be rather frustrating if you bounce against the Peter principle in a racing game...
