It's a bit ridiculous that people are first hyping Vettel and a couple of weeks later destroying them. Although I personally rate Bourdais as a more complete driver, both drivers are doing great. Vettel is still very young and already quite mature, and although I don't think he is the next Schumacher, he will certainly stay in F1 for many years to come. Vettel still has time on his side. If Vettel beats Bourdais or opposite, that doesn't mean that the other driver is doing badly.

Vettle is, for the first time, under pressure form his teammate and it shows. When he sub'ed at BMW there was no pressure and no expectation from the team and Vettle performed fantastically. Last year he was against Liuzzi who really has not performed that great in F1 (he was awesome from karts to F3000/GP2). Again, no pressure. Now, Bourdais is a class act and has driven all sorts of cars and has done 100,000's miles of racing.....way more miles than Vettle....there is no substitute for experiance. Vettle needs to settle down and get his mind back on the game. Until then, he will continue to struggle.

Liuzzi and Vettel were teammates for 7 races and Liuzzi scored 4-3 in qualifying over those races (it was 4-2 for Liuzzi prior to Brazil). I don't think Vettel did better than Speed. Speed was just unlucky and maybe has a big mouth that didn't help him. I rate all 3 of them as excellent drivers but to say that Vettel outperformed Liuzzi is simply untrue.

Vettel has just been very, very unlucky this season. The STR is not up to standards to really show off with. He did well in qualifying in Australia, but STR have lost the battle with Honda, Toyota and RBR so far. They will really need the STR3 and may hope it is the required step forward. Don't hold Vettel responsible. Schumacher wasn't absolutely great when he was in a subtop/midfield Benetton in 92-93 either. His time will come. He has the right state of mind and outright speed for the job.

His team mate is doing well. In fact if you read any of the threads before the season started about Bourdais being paired off with Vettel, everyone was saying Vettel would absolutely destroy him. I believe Vettel is just another creation of the media hype.

Schumacher crushed all of his teammates, something i didn't see from vettel and that has nothing to do with the car's pace.

This is correct. Speed was actually a better racer than Liuzzi although slighlty behind in speed. He put up some great performances last year, I recall Spain and in Monaco he was glued to kimi's bumper for the entire first stint. Vettel is very good, but to me there was no indication whatsoever that he would beat Bourdais or that he was better than Speed or Liuzzi.

Wrong? That we will know in some years. Never in my wildest derams could I imagine Massa in a Ferrari, winning races!
Vettel has plenty of speed and is very young. His does not seem to make many mistakes when he is alone on the track and race craft is something you can develop. He quick, he is smart. He will improve. But so far he has still been a disappointment.
