any details on how the bridgestone engineers and on-track management are compartmentalised? how it all works?

with the tyre structural analysis and decision to run hamilton on 3 stops taken well before qualifying, Saturday morning at latest, we had well over 24hours for this information to leak ... anyone heard any whispers of who knew what and when.

the reaction and quotes in the ferrari press releases seem to be as surprised as the rest of us, and domenicalli even after the race still seemed to be under the impression that mclaren had taken a strategy flier, rather than a desperate preventative measure (mclaren race simulations had lewis finishing 5th at best on 3stops) ... so taking that at face value, (naive fool that i am) i think congratulations are probably in order in the bridgestone trucks for the ethics and professionalism.

it's always easy to criticise a single supplier, especially one with pre-existing commercial relations to one team, so i'd like to think all the right things happened this weekend

the only thing that concerns me (just very very slightly) is in commentary james allen saying he talked with some italian journalists who had sources, who as it turned out, were able to predict the exact lap that hamilton was eventually to pit on ... lucky guess? not sure anyone else saw that coming, so you'd fo-sure like to know who their deep-throat team contacts were.

They weren't journalists. They were "family" members, and they knew because they asked Lewis' race engineer. After discovering a horses head in his bed, he decided that he would share all. :)
