Ferrari's fuel tactics

How long it takes from you to understand that Ferrari allows preferred fuel-tactic to faster Q2 driver (from the first Q2 attempt). Accordingly, tommorrow Kimi is coming one lap after Felipe. This has been pattern for the long time. Since the start of the last season Q2 winner has had right to choose better strategy. In the start of the last year better strategy was to go with less fuel because difference was two-lap. Since they choose to put drivers with one lap fuel diffrence, the better tactic has been to go heavier. There is so clear pattern. Only few exceptions during last season and this season.

Sure, you're right. HOWEVER, Kimi's Q3 lap was far from perfect and i'm affraid having the two McLarens between himself and Kimi puts Massa comfortable safe. At least from Kimi.

Yep, that's right but i think there could be a real fight for 2nd place going into the first corner as the Ferrari'sdo tend to have better starts and Lewis is on the clean side of the track so expect Heikki to come under some pressure at the start.

So the fuel tactics if it is indeed only 1 lap extra will not be sufficient for Kimi, expecially seeing as we do not know what the fuel loads of the Mac's are...

Also set up/tyre choice is related to fuel quantity

With Bridgestone admitting they expected not so cold temperatures, and should of brought softer compounds, perhaps this race will be a test of tyre consistency more so then the others.

Yeah i think McLaren will have a few laps advantage at the start while Ferrari builds heat into their tyres.
