Given that Honda has "given up" on their national hero, there was a protest in Toyko by the Japanese fans, do you think Toyota should take this opportunity to hire Sato from Honda? I reckon this will increase their domestic sales quite a bit.

maybe they can place Sato at Toyota or Williams (replacing Nakajima), what do you think?

isn't this a great idea from me? someone please connect me to the Toyota headquarter.

The Super Aguri threads deal with this subject extensively.
But for the record, no, he's has his shot.
And in a topline car, the 2004 BAR-Honda, he showed he can't perform at the very top level and was nailed by Button.

Toyota should keep both of its drivers unless they get someone like Alonso. Glock will come good. Just wait and see. He could have done wonders at Turkey if suspension hadn't failed in qualifying.

Replacing a younger national hero with an older national hero does not exactly sound like a brilliant idea for me.

To be fair, Sato may have improved over the past few years. Massa is night and day from 2004 for example....
Granted, I would keep glock and trulli over trulli and sato.

According to the French magazine 'AutoHebdo', Takuma Sato will get a shoot out test this summer at the Renault F1 Team. We already reported that Steve Nielsen wants Nelson Piquet Jr. to up his game, but it now appears that the shoot out should decide on the replacement of the Brazilian. The magazine also reports that Romain Grosjean, one of the test drivers of the team, will participate in the shoot out.

I'd pick Davdison ahead of him...

In the past Sato was slow and crashking. Now he is only slow.

To be fair in the few races when the setup came together right, he was blindingly fast. The up down pace and even the crash or pass mentality reminded me a lot of Ralf S. I think a lot of people forget he didn't start racing cars until age 21. Most of the rookies have a decade of experience on him.

*end of excuse roll*

Renault and Sato link is a no brainer. Renault owns Nissan so theirs the japanese link $$$$ Dont think they put Grosjean in a F1 race this year if piquet jr gets booted.
