Look, in the race the only thing he destroyed were two multimillion cars. A McLaren and a Ferrari. I am not arguing that he "destroyed" the oposition before the race (altough I would but that's another story), I am arguing with his comments that he destroyed everyone when in fact he literally destroyed two cars, while being in third place.Originally posted by jesee
If that is not destroying your opposition i dont what it is.

hhhhmmmm, what a turn around, in Monaco, wasn't it all luck Lewis for safety car, no slight notification that the safety car destroyed his at that time in this race, nor the fact he was pulling 0.5 - 0.7 a lap

I think he is getting confused about the safety car vs the action on the track when lewis was pulling away quite well.

You are referring to the what he said to the press. What I quoted suggested to me that he personally apologised to Kimi, in the same way that Haug apologized to Domenicali.

Oh, come on. I like Kimi but both incidents were caused by the same thing - the driver not paying enough attention and screwing up. Raikkonen did it in Monaco, lost it under braking and destroyed Sutil's race. Hamilton had it set in his mind that he was about to accelerate back onto the track and didn't consider the red light.
Both incidents are caused by the same thing and should be treated equally.

Ain't that the truth. Target St. Ferrari and the Right Hon. Kimi Raikkonen and you are asking for trouble.
Both Raikkonen and Hamilton made grave mistakes and slammed into a competitor ending their races.
They're equally to blame.

That was a gain of nearly half a second per lap over kubica alone! That is what dominating is. Pity the safety car and lewis stupid mistake we never know what the results would have been...but one thing is for sure...mclaren were dominant in montreal b4 that pit incident with lewis.
You have it all ass backwards sonny.
To dominate you have to finish
everyone that finished in Montreal kicked ham's butt
So far the only thing the hamster can do well is "almost win" be it the race or the WDC, he is very very good at would-a should-a could-a
But when it comes to getting the job done, as a real champion should, he sucks big time
to finish first, first you must finish
smallest g trap
wrong button
wrong button (again)
Alonso's buckside (x2)
Kimi's buckside
Will the hamster find a new way to screw up in france? After all he is a master at screwing up.

Well I'm sure Raikkonen wouldn't have apologized if he had nothing to do with it. Every other car seemed to be able to know where that damp patch was and control their car over it. Kimi also came off at St. Devote.Originally posted by BMW_F1

There are always such people around. But don´t be so quick to point fingers. I can remember you defending some of Montoya´s blunders, claiming he wasn´t to blame. USGP 2006, etc.

I wasn't here in 2006..
but regardless the JPM/ Kimi Indy 06 crash look more like a racing incident to me than Kimi's incident at Monaco. Lots of touches happen during the first laps on a GP specially on tight corners when all cars are all bunched up together..

He has transformed into a monster. The irony is, he refers to LH as a blowhard, loudmouth etc, etc. And every chance he gets he blows harder. The criticism has become so banal and childish with nothing constructive. The post you referenced is a small bit of what he puts out each day.
Yesterday, he actually put something on here that I agreed with and thought he was on the mend, but alas, I was wrong.

He's said it himself - he's done and dusted with what happened, why can't some people do the same instead of rubbishing around for recycled quotes every hour just to justify their ranting.
And Kimi was more than generous with Lewis when they got out their cars, you could see Lewis was ******* himself and turned away. He was expecting getting a beating, because HE knows HE messed up. But still, the media pressure on him never allows him to fully admit his errors and be humble about it.
A hypocrite Kimi certainly is not. He hit the nail on the head after the race saying this:
http://www.viddler.c...star/videos/78/
That should've shut everyone up.

See? You cannot resist defending Montoya, who screwed up and took his teammate out. It is no different for crazy Räikkönen fanboys, who claim Monaco wasn´t his fault at all. Or crazy Hamilton fanboys who try to excuse him for bigger blunder than aforementioned cases put together.
Hamilton fans even use YOUR favourite excuse ("he had nowhere to go" - after braking too late, that is).
