Short answer: yes.

I do not think FIA even have the authority to do so, link license fee to income for only those living in tax exiles. How will FIA even determine actual incomes? Do Max & Co. really think that they have got authority to demand this data, over-ruling the sovereignty of countries worldwide?!

This is another tactic to re-build his scary tyrant image. One challenge in some EU court and Max Hardcore's whole house of cards will fall apart.

And I don't use all the facilities in the UK. I had this years ago, when I moved to Monaco, people making comments when they don't know what the real situation is. Our lifestyle choice is a lifestyle choice – everyone's free to make that and I think it's wrong of people to have a dig at someone else who's having perceived financial success and choosing to live in a country that suits his needs at that time.

The drivers 'work' in the countries they race in, so its up to the country to collect taxes from them.

I think you guys underestimate the power of the FIA.

The FIA can simply make it a requirement to be sanctioned as a team, that all salaries of all personnel have to be disclosed at the start of each season.

I am not sure that's not already the rule!

Of course the proper way to do it would be to make each team submit it's budget, and tax the teams directly a percentage of their budgets.
