This is a very long shot but if anyone going to the Goodwood Revival knew John "Jock" Lawrence, the former Ecurie Ecosse driver, Jock's daughter, who is visiting the event from her home in New Zealand. Obviously she is keen to know if anyone who actually knew and talked to Jock back in the 1950s before he went to New Zealand she would like to meet them. Jock originally raced a Cooper-MG sports car registered JER 547 that had originally been bought by Brian Lister. If anyone fits that description could they send me an e-mail through this site and I will seek to put them in touch.

Graham, another long shot is to go via the Daily Telegraph Motoring section , publ. on Saturdays with the paper. They invariably run good pre-Goodwood coverage

You can always go direct to them via TNFer Simon Arron, usually contactable here via photos from track/paddock threads. I am sure he will arrange for a note to be put in the relevant section.

I read in some blurb that celebrated ex Straight et al Maserati chassis 3011 is now back in the UK after years with Mr Giddings, IIRC, and will be at the Revival. It is a useful opportunity to mention Jenks' book Maserati 3011, which tells the whole story
