Many cities have memorials of famous sons and daughters. Usually statues, such as the Buddy Holly statue in my hometown, or sometimes a house that has been preserved, such as the Edgar Allan Poe home in Baltimore.
But I was wondering if m/any such memorials exist for the late greats of racing, both in the US and in Europe? Surely there's a monument to Ray Harroun in his little hometown in Pennsylvania? Earnhardt? DePalma? Ascari? Clark?
Here's the thread to enter info you may have on extant monuments and memorials (not museums per se) to the great drivers of the past.
