As we sipped coffee and lightly ate currant scones in a genteel eating establishment in Mill Hill he saw himself in the photo.. he suddenly stood up and shouted 'It's me!'
Cafe Society's silence was broken for those few seconds..............

In view of the various other photo-based threads I thought I would bump this one up, in case newcomers have not seen the pictures. Thanks to Michael, more of Nick's amazing work:
Mystery photo, any ideas who, where, when? ( Shelsley?)
Do we have any more ideas about the driver of this Seven?

I've always had a special fondness for a properly printed image and Nick Loudon's images are extraordinary, both for content and presentation.
Thank you for bringing this thread to the forefront for us more recent devotees of TNF.

With the posting of a superb Nick Loudon picture elsewhere I thought I would bump this old thread for the benefit of new members who might otherwise not be aware of his work. Sadly many of the images have disappeared.

By the way, on my Safari browser, at least all the page 2 photos are still here.

Does anyone know if this iconic Louden Amon photo is commercially available anywhere?

The Oulton Park Archive / Circuit Management might know, Tony. It was used, I think, in their large format corporate brochures a few years back.Does anyone know if this iconic Louden Amon photo is commercially available anywhere?

Did we ever resolve who the driver was? As a bonus it is always a delight to bring foward Nick Loudon's material. For those not familiar with his work, just scroll through the whole thread and enjoy it.

At the risk of being a bore, may I resurrect this one of Nick's shots, deleted by Imageshack earlier, as we may now have a lot of new viewers on TNF? I am sure it is not Gill Hutchinson, different colour hat. It would be nice to id the driver.

I'm due to meet Chris in a couple of weeks & hoped to purchase a print & get him to sign it. If I can't manage to find it, I will ask him who owns the copyright.

Bump. We have lost some of the early shots, but enjoy the rest.
