I am trying to determine several things about this photo:
http://img120.images....1591284se2.jpg
what are the chassis numbers of these two cars?
Is the #16 car the Ron Roycroft rebodied 375 F1 car chassis?
Is the #68 car the ex-Ken Wharton chassis 0514?
There are gaps in the history of both cars in the late 50s and early 60s.
what is the venue and date? I have been told it is Teretonga, New Zealand in 1962 but cannot find any confirmation.
Thanks for any help.

Here's an easier look
Teretonga Park, 27 January 1962
You’re right and wrong, Tom
The front car has the ex-Rosier Ferrari bodywork which was on Roycroft’s car when it arrived in NZ in 1956, but in this photo it’s on a 250F Maserati chassis
The car behind is indeed the ex-Wharton Monza 0514
Both cars had V8 Chevrolet Corvette engine at this point in their careers
And BTW - I can't agree with your comment about gaps in the Ferraris’ histories ;)

David-
I've been both right and wrong on most things in my life...
by any chance do you know any details (colors, etc) of the Rosier body at this race? It certainly looks much darker than the French blue I have seen of the Rosier car.
Thanks as always.
