I'm getting Laura Ashley, with offers for savings on knitwear and jewellry.

Isn't that the most bizarre customer profiling in the history of the internet?

Congratulations to the person who managed to get Laura Ashley to pay for it. Whatever they're paying you, it's not enough!

Blokes of the right demographic needing christmas present inspiration for their women folk. Maybe not so daft after all.

Though my wife would string me up if I bought her anything from there...!

And Derek, I don't know what a 'postig' is but if you are puzzled about the posts above, it's to do with the advertising banner at the top of this page. Mine now says "Daytona 24hrs at Wembley Stadium" and has apparently replaced the Laura Ashley banner. OK?

An Aussie says: mine's going on about Stuff.TV whoever they are.

I must say I never really registered there was a banner at the top until this thread opened!

Yes, appears to be stuff.tv most of the time, prolly 90 %! It's mostly apparent on threads with many pics, they usually take a second or two to load, unlike the banner which is there in an instant!;)

Regrettably, I don't buy stuff, I only buy products...

Those Circuit City ads are annoying. I don't like the way they "run off the track" to gain an advantage...

So've I today.
I have had times when the forum would not load with a message at bottom left "waiting for . . ." which referred to some advertising or another - sadly I did not take a note of what it was in order to avoid its product deliberately.;)

I dread the Bibendum man appearing - it always seems to take forever to pump him up and the threads don't appear till he's done. Laura Ashley loads much faster.

I get an ad. for Gatlinburg, Tennessee. It's on par with Pigeon Forge... those are pitiful resorts: imagine a tacky Coney Island with old rides in a mountain surrounding...
The ads I get are usually pretty cheap and completly uninteresting.

Mine's just changed to Wembley Stadium - Race of Champions, December 18. Not a lot of interest for someone on the other side of the globe.

EDIT: That's weird - as soon as I went back to the thread after posting, it was back to Stuff.TV.

The ads are BB wide so aren't specific to TNF.
