Thanks for the link, Mike. Lots of good shots and I was particularly interested in the Aston Clinton and Donington photos. Driving over the top to Applecross looked a challenge too!

Since starting here in the last 12 months I have found the rather wonderful LAT archive in the building and now tend to be found there most lunch hours searching through the old glass plates from Autocar, The Motor etc etc. The best bit is that they have allowed me to scan some and put the results online. They can be seen at www.austinharris.co.uk, so far there are about 400 images, nearly all of them are of Austin 7s, (and yes my real name is Austin.)
I have tried to identify the cars as best I can but there are obviously going to be mistakes, if you see any let me know, (either leave a comment or email or whatever) and I'll sort it out.
As an aside I also own and drive a rather nice Austin Ulster replica, (and I class it is a replica rather than special / copy / fake as it was built as an accurate replica of a specific car.)

Oh, sorry! I have a bookmark http://www.austinhar...co.uk/node/2159 (last new picture I have seen) and it haven't been working for a while so it seemed like entire site is offline. Now I successfully entered main page.

I updated the site so some of the urls changed, it look like the one you had bookmarked was one of them. That should be it for a while now...
