Another 'what is it?'

Found while moving images to new system; no info, but appears to be a relatively recent vintage race in a desert climate. What is that, pardon my use of the vernacular, butt-ugly blue car?

This is driving me crazy. I've seen that car. IIRC, it had a chassis that followed Indy roadster practices in terms of suspension, wheel, and brake components while being powered by a big US V8.

That appears to be the beast. Must be one of the rarest cars on the vintage scene, but it's still ugly (IMO, of course). How on earth did you find that article so qucky?

Now here's another. Filename is "cotati_67", have no idea what "cotati" is, or was (person? place? car?); it looks like a Lister but I'm no expert.

Too crude to be a Lister - possibly a rebodied Ferrari?

Cotati is/was a track in the San Francisco area-I think it was on an old airport.
