BMW have protested the 3 diffuser cars again

Only BMW have done so at this race, and the stewards rejected the protests, but BMW have lodged an appeal.

They are pathetic. so desperate. Their KERS was supposed to be huge advantage while they suck at it.. Morons

Yep, they've pulled a clever move.

Its all about possible verdicts.

If FIA find them illegal and decide to take points off the diffuser teams, then if only Australia was disputed then there could be a chance that only the Australian race would have points deducted.

By protesting in MY then both races will be running under appeal and possible points reductions.

It'll be interesting who'll protest in China, STR?

At this point I cannot conceive of the FIA changing points from races already run. Just isn't going to happen. Best these teams can hope for is a rule clarification better defining rules relating to diffusers and given China is the next race teams on the road would be pressed to make modifications.
I have to believe that the stewards decisions will be upheld and for the good of the sport I hope they are.

Imagine the protests that will fly if the diffusers are deemed illegal. My bet is that Red Bull will be the first team protested against.

I Totally agree, its not going to happen, the FIA can't overturn the results of two races done without doing to much damage

The worst, is that they have to change the diffuser by a certain day.

Taking away points from the first 2 races from teams running "illegal" diffusers? I can't see that one coming.

All other teams are already working on the double diffusers. Some which are not running it like RedBulls are already competitive with the Toyota, Williams and Brawn GP.
