d'ya know.......i was talking with a colleague this morning about the Hamilton thing, and i did say 'you've got to wonder whether Alonso would lie if he'd been asked to'......my conclusion then was he wouldn't and he gained a bit of credibility in my mind ..... i take it back, he's kicking the team while it's down and any credibility he had in my mind is thoroughly removed, he's a despicable little **** again and i hope.....no, i'll not go there, suffice to say he reminded me today why i disliked him so much after 2007......'Of course there I lost the championship by a point and in Hungary they played a bad trick on me.' oh cry me a ****in' river and get over it you miserable bastard

Lewis is the World champion yet you made the assertion that he is overrated, Fred by many (yourself included it sees) is held up as some form of god, not just in terms of talent but moral standards. Unfortunately he is neither, he is a fantastic driver there is no doubt about it, but by many he is overrated and his moral standards at times leave much to be desired, as do Lewis and McLarens.

As for winning the WDC in a tank?

Were you even watching F1 in 05 and 06?

A quick search of your username along with words like "coloured" "black" "spanish" "racist" and "alonso" will show people exactly what side of the fence you sit on, and ceratinly which side of politically correct your racial views reside.

Now you try and dig yourself out by claimng you are from the congo and you want more "colored people" in F1, and words like "pakish" too, which I guess was an attempt to use the derogatory word for Pakistani people.

Do us all a favour and leave, you racist biggot.

[sarcasm] It's nice to see that this thread didn't turn into an ugly display of xenophobia. [/sarcasm]

Just out of interest, is there an official FIA rule about not lying to the stewards?

What rule was applied this time for the punishment?

Regards

Andy

I'm honestly not sure, though logically there would have to be one in order for Lewis to receive a punishment, which he has. They've certainly penalized teams previously for allegedly misleading the stewards (the BAR two-race ban in 2005 is one example).

Rule 14.1: Though shalt not lie near Max, unless you are waiting to be spanked.

Whether there was a rule or not, they deserved what they got, and may have even got off lightly.

I say this as a Hamilton Mclaren fan.

Nah if the FIA actually observed that rule they'd quickly run out of officials, Whiting for starters would be out on his ass.

Indeed, his evidence relating to Spa 2008 was not his finest hour.

That's a general catch all and besides, Max's antics last year made it non enforceable after he got no reprimand for the biggest transgression of it in the history of motorsport.
