I guess we look for more specific details of the issue. :)

but the protest withdrawn after it was found out that McLaren, Scuderia Toro Rosso and Williams' engine suppliers Toyota also featured similar design concepts

Now we know where "'sport's interest" lies :rotfl:

I think that's probably 100% right. I feel lied to and deceived. Perhaps Williams should be banned or be forced to employ Alonso or some other heinous punishment?

Storm in a tea cup ... it's a minor issue that gets dealt with by the TWG. No biggie, like I dunno Ferrari exhausts were a couple of months ago.

I'm not in favor of banning anybody. I'm not even blaming Williams. It's political and they were in a tricky situation.

I like Patrick Head.

But I think it's really embaressing for him to say "Those were the teams we observed it on, and we were quite surprised to find the stewards said there were ten cars."

Don't they have time to look at photos of all the cars before doing something like this? I thought they kept better track of their competitors then this.

It's going to be a crazy season where all teams exploit loopholes as soon as double diffusers are deemed legal.

Great example of why I think teams should be limited to the number of protests they can have per season.
