I wonder which team will benefit from the colder conditions due to the change in the calendar compared to the normal October date. Thoughts?

I wonder if the cooler temps will marginalize Brawns advantage just a little bit... hmmm.

Surely more downforce = shorter time getting tyres to operating temperature?

I was thinking along the lines of higher air pressure giving the teams with weaker aero a proportionally higher return on investment than the brawns... wishful thinking, i know

Weather too cool is more or less favourable for tyre graining and blistering?

It looks like we might get a dry race, as the rain shower that had shifted to Sunday has now moved on to Monday. Still too early for an accurate forecast though.
It will be interesting to see if the teams are able to deal with the graining issues they had with the super softs in Melbourne.

F1 races on tracks and countries in their summer. Average air temps between 20-35C. Usually it's only under 20C if it's a wet race.

They might pull a Schumacher-Silverstone 1998 and pit for supersofts on the beginning of the last lap.
