Thought I'd start this already. Especially since the current weather conditions are promising a very interesting race start. I can see Bourdais going off in turn 1 already :)

How about the weather guys??? Not the type of downpour you see in Sepang, but wet enough to cause cars to go off the track.

It should be a very interesting race.

Kovalainen and Piquet would stop on Lap 32 or so, and might be able to go for a 1-stopper after all.

If Red Bull get the strategy change right, Vettel should be doing well. So will Hamilton hopefully. Surviving the first corner will be crucial. Also keep an eye on Buemi. It will be interesting how he performs in the wet, now that the Buemi hype is taking shape.

It is drizzling, and Vettel's maiden win was in the rain at Monza last year.

Will he be the favorite this time around?

Not sure about that with his fuel load.

The again, the early stoppers (Alonso, Vettel, Webber) might be unlucky if conditions change.

The race will start behind the safety car. It will negate Hamilton's KERS.

Vettel is sitting pretty.

Full wets or inters, guys?

It plays right into Button and Barrichello's hands because they are stopping later, and could have a wider window to choose their tyres if the weather changes.

Doing a couple of laps behind the safety car on economy-mode could see Vettel pitting on Lap 15-16.

Full wets for me. SC start is bad for the front 3 IMO, especially FA, buring up their small fuel loads but making no time on the others. LH can still use his kers on the back straight, where he intended to IMO.

Brawn doesn't have a lot of experience in the wet. Bit of an unknown

Although we don't know yet what the Brawn is like in the wet.

Is it not now compulsary to use full wets if it is a safety car start? Thought there was a regulation change last year.

Safety car start? Why?

It's not even raining that hard.

Ridiculous.

Williams cars don't want to start? Man, these guys are chickens. Just get on with it, there is always some risk in the rain.

This race can be decided by how many laps they do behind the safety car. Every new lap is a blow tthe chances of the top 3.

F1 has turned into a joke. They have been racing for decades in the wet in much worse cars than the modern ones yet they refuse to risk anything and race. Bunch of pathetic pussies. Its another farce.

FFS they should delay the start in cases like this. Sepang was a farce and this race looks set to be one as well; at this race there's no likelihood of racing anytime soon.

There is lots of standing water in the rain since the dawn of time, and it never stopped them before. Its nothing new. Whiiting is a damn idiot. They just might spend half the race like this. The guy is as stupid as mosley.

How big advantage will the cars with a wet weather set up have? Or have evryone been allowed to change their setup from qualifying?
