RM is selling a 1967 Ferrari 330 P4 Chassis 0858 at their upcoming Ferrari Leggenda Auction.

Surely this will be an all-time auction record...

Is this the car that was driven by Paul Hawkins in Gunston colours at the Kyalami 9 hour? I think this is the only occasion that a Ferrari ran in full colours of a sponsor....
This is the most beautiful racing car ever made in my opinion.

Yes, it did end up with Paul Hawkins to race in the South African races eventually.

The webpage on Sports Car Digest is incorrect though, as it mentions that its only Australian race was at Surfer's Paradise. It will hold the outright record at Longford for eternity, and I'm sure it ran at The Farm as well. Unsure about Sandown.

It then appeared with Bill Brown at the helm at Bathurst where it also reset the lap record, as well as fastest speed down Conrod, and then Bill crashed out of the Surfer's 6-hour with it mid-year.
