Thanks for the heads-up, D.M.N.

I've just watched the Senna documentary from 1995, having not seen it when it was originally aired. It is quite a well balanced programme, especially considering that it was made only a year after Ayrton's death. The recollections of other drivers, particularly Brundle and Watson, were very revealing.

I keep getting "Cannot play media. Sorry, this media is not available in your territory."
Does anyone know where else I can see this?

The Europeans have all the fun. I really hate the fact that it's locked in by country. Why not let us see it?

Use some proxy software like Tor to watch it.

125 Qualifying is on now on the BBC Red Button (or Freeview Channel 302). I don't think it was on yesterday. I was looking for the Senna prog but couldn't find it.

Yeah I could see the Senna programme on the Sky red button earlier but not on the Freeview red button now. Wierd... Maybe downloading its your only option now as they may have moved it off. When will this snooker end btw? Its been on for weeks! My analouge Eurosport upstairs is getting sick of it...

Anyone know the name of the haunting music that opened the Senna doc ?
I recorded the programme when it was originally broadcast back in 1995 and have wondered ever since.

I've only got Freeview, and have checked in vain since Friday morning for this prog :(
Oh well, interweb it must be...

Senna was the last driver who could be considered on a completely different level to everyone else he was on the track with.

Schumacher, in my opinion, was on a level below Senna and everyone else who has raced in Formula 1 since 1994 is one level below Schumacher and two levels below Senna.

Thanks Alan.

Obviously it wasn't the Chris Rea version but presumably a new arrangement by the BBC team who put the documentary together.

Cheers

Chris

I think it was only on for one day only.
